Re: Water Main Relocation Project

Dear Resident,

A water main relocation project associated with Pierce County road widening projects (CRPs 5786, 5895, 5763) has commenced along 122nd Ave E. Once the project is completed, property, roadways, and rights of way will have been restored to as near pre-project conditions as possible.

Project construction began the week of December 9, 2024. Per Pierce County requirements, normal construction hours are Monday-Friday 8:30pm-5:00am. While the entire project is expected to last through April 2025, the majority of night work should be completed within 2-3 weeks in your immediate area.
When the contractor is working in your immediate area, you can expect typical construction noise, some traffic delays, and inconveniences such as rough road surfaces and temporary blocking of parking and driveways. Firgrove Mutual Water Company and the contractor, Tapani Inc., will attempt to keep such inconveniences to a minimum. Thank you for your patience.
